I keep encountering an annoying error message as I try to set up my new 64-bit Vista laptop.
Often when I try to install a program, I’m told that another installation is already in progress and I must complete that one first.
If you’re having the problem, the Windows Installer service is started, and the Stop button is disabled. Now you’re good to go and can start a new installation.
within the Ammunition forums, part of the M14 M1A Forum category; Last month I purchased three boxes of Federal T762TNB1. 130gr OTM bullet Spherical powder "FC 10" is the T762TNB1. Bullet seating comparison, M80 bullet, MK319, Hornady 155gr A-MAX, 150gr bullet pulled from XM762D cartridge. The length of the actual bullet might change these numbers so once I get it from you I'll rerun the what-if scenario.
For those unfamiliar with this ammo please google MK319 MOD 0 and link to web ... With my test case I was able to get the OAL and ogive I needed. (L)Federal, (R)Clone This gives me an ogive of 2.180" and an OAL of about 2.742" Because the ogive on these bullets are more consistent than OAL. Oh and don't forget, my software will be off about 25 fps or so either way so you would want to work up to the loads like normal.
I googled this problem, and found some complicated advice about failed installations and the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.
But I find that this error occurs when a program installs just fine in every respect except that it leaves the Windows Installer Service running. Right-click on the Computer icon, wherever it exists on your system, and select Manage.
